Timar Racing is a part of Black Sheep Racing.
Comprised of Nick Timar, Marty Reinsmith & Scott Werkheiser;
they design and fabricate all the cars, from the frame to the engine, to the final designs.
All told there are 8 cars in Black Sheep Racing:
There is the sister and brother duo
of Angelica Timar who drives the #39 and #39X, and her brother Nick Timar driving the #79 and #79X.
Then there are the two brothers from the Reinsmith family.
Jake Reinsmith operates the #23 and #23X, while his older brother Alex Reinsmith can be seen in the #47 and #47X.
We cannot forget the three crazy ladies that keep this circus in line-
Jen Timar, Christal Reinsmith and Sharon Werkheiser.
They operate the "Black Sheep Concession Area" and make sure the kids
(big and little) are ready to go every week.
Quarter Midgets are real race cars, not toys.
The cars are 1/4 the size of a midget race-car
and share many of the same style parts;
just smaller, of course.
The cars have tube frames and a full rollcage
with a racing seat and full 5 point harness.
The kids also wear a full face helment,
racing suits, gloves and arm restraints
The cars also use the same racing wheels and
tires that most go-kart racers use.
There are different classes to race in based on
the child's age, racing experience, and engine size.
